“Muqarnas” is a wall-piece installation that visually references Persian tilling and molding. With its complex form, it is a 3-dimensional visualization of 2D Persian geometric patterns. Using packaging cardboard as the installation material and placing the piece in the gallery, I intended to mention transition, movement, and migration in the cultural context.

This installation was exhibited in the Special Project Gallery, York University, 2019.
